Mix together butter, sugar, egg and vanilla until all ingredients are well incorporated. (You can use an electric mixer or just stir with a spoon.) Add flour, baking powder and salt, mix well. Let the dough rest for 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 350 ° F (176 ° C). Grease a 14-inch pizza pan or line with parchment paper. Spread the dough over it, leaving a little space around the edge. Bake for 12 minutes. Let cool down.
